France

Paris was out last stop. It was a lot of fun, but after a month of non-stop traveling, I was ready to go home. The first pictures is my tour group, with our instructor lecturing us about Notre Dame. The next is some candles inside the Cathedral. After that we have Tyler and Brittany (A married couple on our tour), and lastly, some castle somewhere near Reims France. After that, it was time to go home. I remember kissing the floor once we landed in America. Traveling was a lot of fun, and I'm so glad I did it!

Italy

Italy to me brings back blissful memories of pizza and gelato! The first picture was taken in Venice, the next five pictures were taken in Rome, and the last one was in Florence. I really like the third picture. It was taken in the Pantheon (the big dome building with the hole in the top). To me, this is what being a tourist felt like, with the tall ancient buildings crowded with tourists as the sun blazes. This trip was fun, but it was also exhausting, and I think this image captures what the trip really felt like. 

Greece

Greece was a lot of fun, despite the creepy men who asked my friends and I to come home with them. Although Athens was a scary place, nothing was as spectacular as the Acropolis! These pictures are mostly of Aegina, a Greek Island near Athens. The last picture is a view from the Acropolis. 

England

Exactly one year ago, I was in Europe. The next few days I'll be posting highlights from each country as a sort of tribute to the trip. I had a lot of fun, gained new buddies, and learned a lot. I also met Pam, Shelli, and Ashleigh, some of the coolest people on Earth! (aka Pamula, Shell-I-Suga-Pie, and Ashleagck). For those of you who have not yet gone to Europe, I suggest you get over there and experience it!

Havasupai

My family took a trip down to Havasupai a few years ago. I hear now it's flooded out, so it's currently not as beautiful and will need time to heal itself, which is disappointing because my husband Nate and wanted to hike down to the campground this year. 

Night in Rexburg

I had some spare time as I was waiting for Nate to come home, so I went outside and took a couple of night shots around main street in Rexburg. I hadn't done much night photography before this, but I thought it was pretty fun!

Shallow Depth

These are various pictures that all deal with extremely shallow depth of field. I used my telephoto lens for these guys. They're all pics around Rexburg, ID.
