He is leaving for an LDS mission to

Texas on Feb 13th.

Chance is my sister's boyfriend.

She's a strong supporter of his choice to

serve a mission, but man will she miss him!

Blaine's First Christmas

I'm back! My delivery went great and I now have the cutest little boy known to mankind! I am gearing up to shoot a wedding and a senior session in Arizona next week and now am back in business. Since this is my little boy's first christmas, naturally I wanted a picture of him with Santa. I was just going to take him to the mall when my boss rented a santa suit for a school dance we photographed. The morning before he had to return the suit, I went into the studio with my husband and baby and took my own santa portraits. They turned out really sweet and I know I'll treasure them much more than a snapshot of my baby with some stranger at the mall. I think it would make a great photo special to have dads bring in their babies. Maybe I'll set that up next year :)

A Few Families and then a break

Well, what can I say. I am 40 weeks pregnant and so my photographing has slowed down a lot. I'm sure once I have my little guy there will be plenty of baby portraits for me to blog about. I just wanted to share with you a few recent family photos and apologize for my lack of blogging. Once my baby gets a little bigger then I'll continue to blog at full speed ahead, but for now I'll be taking a little break. Happy Fall everybody!
