Baby Jace

Welcome to the world baby Jace! 

Isn't it amazing how sweet newborns are? Each time I hold one I am so surprised by how tiny they are. It's bizarre to think that Blaine and Neal were once this small. 

One of my favorite things about getting together with fellow mothers is hearing birth stories! Giving birth is such a huge deal. The craziest thing when you are a new mom is to go out in public and look at all the people everywhere and think about how each person had a mother that gave birth to them! 

Even though it is such a common thing for women to experience it is one of the biggest most dramatic things a women can go through! Her life changes in a way that even though she anticipates can never be fully prepared for. The exhaustion is immense but so is the joy.

Marlowe & Colter - Wedding

The Carter Family - Arizona Family Photographer

I absolutely love photographing extended families. There is something so much fun about a huge group of family! It's often time a rare and treasured time to get the whole gang together. 

International Print Competition 2014

I was honored to have two images accepted into the General Collection of Professional Photographers of America's 2014 International Photographic Competition. My images were on display at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee Feb. 1-3, 2015. 

A panel of 45 eminent jurors from across the United States selected the top photographs from nearly 5,000 total submitted entries at Gwinnett Technical College in Georgia. Judged against a standard of excellence, just over 1,800 images were selected for the General Collection.

Cavenee Family

Remember Jenna? Here is her with the rest of her family. Here are the Cavenees in front of the Gilbert LDS Temple. Mary is the mother and is one of those people who you instantly love. She is so nice and has a shine to her personality. This year has been a big year for her as she had her daughter get married and is about to send of a missionary. 

McBride Family

This is Andrew and Rachel with their little girl. We are college friends as Andrew was Nate's roommate and Rachel was my roommate. They got married about a year and a half before Nate and I and had trouble getting pregnant. I am happy to say that they now have a beautiful baby girl! Children are such a gift.

Snow Family on Chase Field

One evening I got a text from Sherri Snow. She told me that she has stage 3 breast cancer and that she was looking for a photographer to take family portraits on Chase field. I was so happy that I got this opportunity! The Snows are big baseball fans and it was so much fun to see the kid's faces light up when we went on the field. After the shoot was over our escort took us back to the Diamond Backs' club house. This is a room where the players hang out. It's an exclusive room and the kids went nuts to be able to see it. Our escort was so kind to us and he inspired me to want to go the extra mile for others and make people smile.
