Fishing Trip

My Husband Nate and I had a fishing day (which basically means Nate fly fishes while I sit on the river bank and try to entertain myself ;) ). Nate would like to make everyone aware that he caught bigger fish than what's shown here, but it was too far down the river for me to photograph.

Highlights from Lisa

This project was actually a school project. I think we just had to shoot a portrait or something, I can't remember the guidelines. I chose to shoot my neighbor Lisa because she has wicked awesome hair and amazing eyes.

My Niece Tessa!

My sister Suzanne O'Dell, and her husband Scott had Tessa on April 2nd. Suzanne endured a sixty five hour labor. Tessa was well worth the wait as she is the cutest baby known to this earth! (My apologies to all other babies on Earth). This is Tessa at almost two weeks old.

Highlights from Erica and Nathan

Erica is my old roommate Pam's high school buddy (sometimes the connections are random). They were married in Blackfoot Idaho and the wedding was beautiful.

The Start

So I just got back from a seminar where photographer Jonathan Canlas' showed the BYU-Idaho students his work. He is an all film photographer that mainly shoots weddings. I was impressed at a lot of his stuff. (You can check out Jonathan Canlas' Photography at this link: http://canlasphotography.blogspot.com/ ) Anyway, he talked about the importance of  marketing your work through blogs. He also mentioned that it's a great place to publish your personal work. So there you have it, I now have a blog. I hope to get into this and post daily, so let's see what happens.
