The Mower Clan

Nate & I got the opportunity to go down to Utah this weekend.

I me his uncle Paul and his family for the first time.

They live in Canada and came down to send Peter off on a mission.

Peter is serving in San Francisco.

This is ALMOST the whole Mower clan.

We're missing Nate's parents, his sister Abigail,

and his brother Cameron and his wife Marquette.

(we missed you guys!)

So here's the Mower Gang minus five.

First Blogaversery

A year ago today I had just come home from a

seminar where John Canlas told me that a

blog was crucial if I wanted to be a photographer.

That night I started this blog.

That was 122 posts ago.

Since than I have taken 2 crucial portrait classes,

shot 5 weddings, done a LOT of independent study

(shooting and reading), and started my

internship with Travis Gugelman.

I have come a long way.

Just to illustrate how much I've grown,

here's a picture from my first blog post.....

And here's one I recently took.....

I've improved a ton.

Hopefully in a year from now I will have

grown so much that I laugh at the pictures

I am taking now.

I have decided that that's my real goal,

to be the best I can be.

Just over two weeks ago I got a Google Analytics account

It helps me monitor when and where people are looking at my

blog and website.

Here's a map of the locations of people looking at

compromising 369 people.

My question is, how the heck did someone

from Tulsa Oklahoma or Mt. Laurel New Jersey find my blog?

not that I'm complaining :)

I guess my point is, Thank You for following my blog.

It helps motivate me in my profession.
